Work In Progress

In my drawing class we are working on a woman that has olive complection, a scarf over her head, and working with a paper that has turned out not to be my favorite. But thank goodness our teacher helps encourage us to reach past our comfort zone to strive to be more than we are today. This last week as very trying to say the least. I had a problem concentrating on anything. While I drank my morning coffee my mind would be running 90 mph with all sorts of "things" from what I needed to do, what lead to use on what part of my drawing, a new picture to draw, and best one of the week which picture to complete first after this class. In addition to not being able to concentrate my tremor was rearing its ugly head by my having to hold my pencils with my right hand and steady it with my left.

Now that I have ramble on about last week I am pretty sure you get the idea of how my week went, very frustating! I found a quote in my daily bible reading material that gave me hope for how my life was going last week; "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow.' "

So here is the lady we are working on and I do look forward to finishing her then sharing the finished piece with you all.
